Wellness:
We offer comprehensive wellness services for all species, including the latest vaccine strategies, vaccination titers, in-house blood testing services, blood pressure monitoring, eye examination services including eye pressure, staining and tear testing, cardiology and cytology services all of which can be done in-house or sent to specialists in some cases. All of our screening is checked by lab specialists at no extra charge, even heartworm and fecal tests. Only the best will do for our patients!

Special procedures:
All of our x-rays are sent to board-certified radiologists for reading after our own interpretation at no extra charge to the client. We also offer Penn HIP studies and OFA radiographic studies for breeders or owners of dogs at risk for hip or elbow dysplasia. Mandel Veterinary Hospital also offers ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy and orthopedic surgery including cruciate ligament stabilization, fracture repair, luxation repair for patella or hip, amputations and more. Mandel Vet can also perform soft tissue surgery not widely offered in private practice including perineal urethrostomy, anal sac excision, thyroidectomy and more.

Dentistry:
Mandel Veterinary hospital has a dental suite which allows us to offer some of the most comprehensive services for your pets teeth outside of a dental specialist. We offer dental radiography and surgical extraction as well as routine dental prophylactic procedures. We also can perform fluoride treatments and application of agents designed to prevent the accumulation of tartar on the enamel surface. Our goal is to keep the pet from requiring “annual dentals”. An additional “suite” is designed for our small mammal patients, including rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas.
